When you were little did you ever want to be something that's totally not you now? Like, did you ever wanna be like a news anchor or business woman or something?@Anonymous
When I was really little I wanted to be an artist or a ballerina or a cat enthusiast (not sure how that would have been profitable). When I was about 15 I thought I wanted to be a pediatrician for a while. I even visited some of my family out west and got to wear scrubs and spend the day job shadowing a doctor. Then I realized later on in school that science/math/logical thinking in general were not my strongest skill set and reverted back to my early childhood dreams of a creative career.
will you do me a favor, and tell natalie kucken the nest time you see her how absolutely beautiful she is? <3@Anonymous
yes, I can most certainly do that ♡
NATALIE!!!!! we r all in agreement here that you are beautiful.
Would you mind sharing the eyeball DIYs? I have a friend that's obsessed with eyeballs, and I'd like to make her some gifts!@birthofastranger
haha, sure! I didn’t really do all that much except buy face paint from the dollar store and then over the course of the night I just started painting eyeballs on everyone. The headband was super easy to make. I bought a cheap headband and found a bag of fake eyeballs (also from the dollar store) and then I used krazy glue to glue them onto the headband one at a time.
you remind me so much of allison harvard! both so unique and gorgeous!@Anonymous
eeeep! she is such a nice person. do you guys remember when I met her at a bar in brooklyn on my birthday and we took a bunch of selfies together in a photo booth?
what are you being for halloween?@Anonymous
I’m kind of throwing a bunch of random ideas together. I bought some pale iridescent fabric which I’m making into a skirt, and then I’m going to draw eyes all over my face, and possibly do something crazy with my hair. I’ve been referring to my costume as a “psychedelic jellyfish from outer space.”
Do you partake in any mind altering substances?@Anonymous
Where did you get your boots?! They're amazing!@Anonymous
Thank you! ♡ I got them from a vintage store that I work at called Olive’s Vintage. I keep finding the most amazing stuff there. It takes an insane amount of willpower not to purchase all of the Gunne Sax dresses >.<
did buttercup die@resnikov-deactivated20131027
No Buttercup didn’t die! He lives with my ex boyfriend Zach and his new girlfriend Gaby and a couple of chinchilla babies and another bunny friend. Last time I went to visit him he seemed really happy and healthy. Also, I’d like to think that Buttercup is immortal and will live forever and ever, so…
Will you make other outfit posts ? I really miss to see how you use your creativity to dress up :-)@Anonymous
Jessie and I just went out today and took some outfit photos which I will post later today or tomorrow :)
Do you smoke?@Anonymous
only meth. I heard cigarettes were unhealthy.
I was just wondering if you still invest a lot of time into your lookbook? Do you have any tips for a successful one and do you think you have to look a certain way for it to work? xx@Anonymous
I lost interest in posting on lookbook.nu, but I might start again in the future. It just started to feel a little monotonous and I needed to take a break. Just be unique and be yourself! <3
How many cameras have you used? Would you ever consider selling them?@phobe-wan
I’ve gone through about 3 digital SLR cameras and right now I’m looking to sell my Nikon D200, super cheap! message me if you’re interested :)
How tall do you have your tripod when you shoot photos for looks, Elle? It makes you look super tall!@Anonymous
I usually have my tripod at about waist height. If you do that and use a semi-wide angle lens it can make people look really tall!
who did you go camping with?!@Anonymous
I went with this awesome dude named Nate.
What do you usually bring on your bag?@Anonymous
Well there’s the boring stuff that I always bring; cellphone, wallet, keys. I almost always have a big pair of headphones with me so I can tune out all of the subway noise. Also, lipstick, sunglasses, and usually a bunch of starburst candy wrappers that always end up in the bottom of my purse.
